Raeesah graduated from Monash University Malaysia with First Class Honours having investigated glycosylated proteins in extracellular vesicles (EVs) as cancer biomarkers. Raeesah has published a review on the role of EVs in mediating chemoresistance in Frontiers of Molecular Biosciences. Currently, she is a second-year PhD student at Monash University supervised by Dr Alexander Combes, Dr Juan Nunez-Iglesias and Dr Julie Moreau. Her research is focused on live imaging kidney development and regeneration in mouse and kidney tubuloid models. Raeesah has co-supervised Honours and undergraduate internship students and currently holds a position as a Teaching Associate for Monash University.
