I work on scientific image analysis and multi-dimensional image visualisation. I lead and develop napari, an open source, multi-dimensional image viewer for Python. I just became aware of IEEE Vis and decided to attend because I want to use the theory and research results of data visualisation to design good APIs that help users quickly and easily explore their data.
