Dr Tan Bee Yi received her PhD from Nanyang Technology University (NTU, Singapore). Prior to joining ZEISS, she has 5 years of research experience in biomaterials design in developing platforms using natural polymer for tissue engineering applications. Her expertise is material characterizations and study the cell-materials interactions, experienced in sample preparation for electron microscopy imaging including scanning electron microscope (SEM) and transmission electron microscope (TEM). She joined ZEISS as product and application sales specialist in 2021 and is responsible for supporting the electron microscope and X-ray microscope for life sciences applications in APAC region.
