Inês Vaz is an HDR student at RMIT University, specializing in Applied Physics, supervised by Dr. Dougal McCulloch. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics with Astrophysics from Nottingham Trent University. Her research focuses on carbon phase transformations, with a strong interest in applying scientific innovation to real-world challenges. Inês is also passionate about promoting diversity in STEM, having founded a Women in STEM society during her undergraduate studies.
