Dr. Svetlana Sineva Research Fellow, Pyrosearch Innovation centre, The University of Queensland, Australia Dr. Sineva is an expert in the experimental study of phase equilibria in metallurgical systems with applying a diverse range of analytical methods, including scanning electron microscopy, electron probe microanalysis, thermal analysis, and others. Her research in focused on the experimental studies designed to improve and optimise thermodynamic database through application of advanced experimental methodologies. The experimental approach relies on equilibration experiments performed under specific conditions following quenching and examination of the obtained samples using various analytical methods. Dr Sineva mainly studied complex matte/slag/metals/speiss systems, Ni-containing slag systems as well as distribution of minor elements between phases
