• 2013.07.15 Associate Professor, Department of Microbiology and Immunology. Academic Lead of Otago Centre for Electron Microscopy. University of Otago. Dunedin, New Zealand. • 2010-2013 Senior Staff Scientist, Facility for Electron Microscopy Research. McGill University. Montreal, Canada. • 2005-2010 Research Fellow, Department of Biological Chemistry & Molecular, Pharmacology. Harvard Medical School. Boston, USA. • 2004-2005 Postdoctoral Fellow, Max Planck Institute of Biophysics. Frankfurt, Germany. • 2000-2004 Doctoral Student, Max Planck Institute of Biophysics & Goethe University. Frankfurt, Germany. • My major research interest resides in understanding molecular architectures and relating those structures to their functional mechanisms. To do this, in my group, we are employing cryo-electron microscopy and electron tomography combined with image analysis techniques.
