Naveen Vankadari
University of Melbourne, VIC, Australia
- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.

Dr. Naveen is a research fellow at the University of Melbourne. He completed post-doctoral research at Monash University in Australia after receiving his PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology from the prestigious Academia Sinica and the National Defense Medical Center in Taiwan. Naveen's current research is primarily focused on key events in human infection. In particular, structural and functional studies on viral and bacterial proteins involved in infection have challenged human immunity. This has important implications for understanding disease progression in humans and gives hints about how to regulate it. His primary research technical areas include cryo-electron microscopy, protein biochemistry, clinical trials, computational biology, and biophysical techniques. His current research focuses on molecular and structural virology, unraveling the cellular entry mechanics of SARS-Cov-2 and other viruses.
