Yue-Sheng is a PhD candidate at the Australian Centre for Microscopy & Microanalysis (ACMM), The University of Sydney. With a background in energy storage research, particularly in lithium-ion batteries, Yue-Sheng has transitioned his focus to advanced materials characterization. Under the supervision of Professor Julie Cairney, his current work employs atom probe tomography to investigate fossilized tissues at the nanoscale, shedding light on ancient biological structures and their preservation.
