Kearney, L.I

Lisa Kearney is a PhD candidate in Earth sciences at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), researching reef diagenesis in the Great Barrier Reef. Her work applies SEM-EDS, automated mineralogy, and Raman spectroscopy to characterise microtextural and mineralogical features of intergranular cements in Holocene reef rocks.
Alongside her PhD, she works as a microanalytics researcher at QUT on behalf of the Geological Survey of Queensland (GSQ). She specialises in automated mineralogy and in-situ microanalytical techniques, with applications in Queensland's critical minerals exploration and deposit characterisation.
