I am associate professor on materials characterisation and an ARC DECRA Fellow (2020-2023), I specialise in materials characterisation with a focus on scandium-enhanced aluminium alloys. Leading IFM’s aluminium research, my work focuses on nano-scale phenomena using advanced techniques like atom probe tomography, electron microscopy and small angle scattering. With a robust funding track record from industry and ARC, I am deeply committed to advancing IFM’s research and innovation. I am a Chief Investigator in a recently awarded ARC ITTC on the design of metallic alloys for a circular economy.
