Yan Jiang received her PhD from the University of Queensland in 2019. She then worked as a visiting research fellow at the National Institutes of Health, USA and conducted cryo-EM structural study on transporters. In 2021, she went back Australia and firstly worked at Monash University. She then joined Professor Renae Ryan’s group at the University of Sydney in 2022 as a postdoc research fellow. Her research interest is using structural biology and biophysical techniques to understand the molecular mechanism of bicarbonate and amino acid transporters. Her research work has been published in Science, Nature Communications, ACS Pharmacology & Translational Science, and Bioconjugate Chemistry.
