Dr. Rhonda Stroud joined the faculty of the School of Earth and Space Exploration as the Director of the Buseck Center for Meteorite Studies in 2022. Prior to that she served as the of Nanoscale Materials Section at the US Naval Research Laboratory from 2007-2022. Her research focus is on electron microscopy studies of tnanoscale materials formed in the laboratory and in astrophysical environments. She is a Fellow of the Microscopy Society of America, the Microanalysis Society, the American Physical Society and the Meteoritical Society, and served as Microanalysis Society President from 2018-2020.
